Talk about being totally bogged down by piles and piles of paperwork.
Well, life in a law firm is quite relaxing actually, for lawyers that is, but when it comes to assisting them, its a whole new ball game.
You see, laywers just do out their comments and advice, whereas, the assistants such as myself type out the entire paragraphs of the relevent documents, do a numerous drafts with proof reading and the drafts keep changing as the lawyers keep changing their comments.
On top of all these, files that were buried deep underneath mountains of other files needed to be dugged up for reference purposes. Of these files, they can be numbered from File 1 all the way own to File 200 plus. So the matter that the lawyer is dealing with can be anywhere amongst these files. Mentally stressful.
The past few days have been like this and I feel as though I lost my sense of wanting to do other things other than work. Gosh, I'm even dreaming about work! Well, guess because there's lots on my mind and work as well. The major part of it.
Apart from all these, I'm still at work. Hah! Nothing surprising. Got so much to do and I'm like begging for time. So many deadlines and so little people around to aid. Sheesh! Been not well lately too, but had to still force myself down to work. Nah, aint a workacholic, just that I gotta finish up lots of things and to me, it looks like never-ending.
I wanted to take a break on purpose before I start about my work. Will be most probably going home around 9:30 again or maybe even later, from the looks of it. Sigh. You know, I really feel like soaking myself in a warm, rose scented milk foam in a bathtub. Hopefully if I'm lucky, I could get a professional massuer. Ahhh....my my, did I just send myself to lala land. Its good to dream once in a while.
Staring at the computer can really cause headaches. Thats what I've been getting I guess. Been having these nagging ones for the past 2 weeks already. What is happening to me?? Hehe, I do sound like an old hag complaining eh? Well, I am old, not too old I hope..hehe.
Okay then people, thanks for popping by and reading this. I just wanted to take the load off. Now going back to my piles of stress!

It is good to be a woman:
1. We got off the Titanic first.
