I don't really have anything interesting to post because nothing really out of the unusal took place nor anything exciting. Been checking out the quizzes from my cousin's website so I guess I'll just post my results..

Mushi Mushi,

Its been quite lazy for the past few days. Nothing exciting really happened. But, I'll just give you the briefs of it anyways.

I was on leave on Friday(needed one), so met up with my cousin after her work. We went over to Woodlands to "supposedly" have a drink and it ended up like this.

Check out how my cousin Suchi's ordering. The shop owner by the way insisted he's gotta be in the photo. So she ordered "Kuay Teow, Mee, Bee Hoon mix". What she got was only the later two :p.

Whilst we were still deciding what to do, we both thought of surprising our other cousin Sanu at her working place. Fish & Co at Novena Square. She was surprised of course! We got a place and erm, we could not resist ordering. This is what we ordered.

There's the mussels in some weird sauce, and the grilled calamari.


Behind the mussels is Suchi's drink. Erm I think it was called Jungle Freeze. Was it? Anyways it was a real huge flask. I had a Choc Junkie..I think thats what's it's called too :p

Yeah, thats me mixing the sauce in the calamari. It did taste good, but somehow, the preference would be for the fried ones. Not grilled. Saw my choc junkie on the right. Super rich and thick and chilled.

After all the food fun, we waited for my cousin till she finished work and we went over to Yishun to play alittle pool.

As for Satuday, I was home all day and went over to my Fiance's place to chill awhile as parents had gone for a concert(guess they're more wild than me :P).

As for today, nothing much too, just chilling and blogging.

Hey Girls,

You don't need a guy giving you flowers nor sending sweet stuff or being a simple romantic to actually know he loves you. Read the story below and you'll know what I am talking about. Love isn't short-termed filled with ectasy. It's a long-term bliss of satisfaction.

~~~The Story~~~

My husband is an engineer. Since I met him, he was always an unflappable rock in my life. I knew he always had his feet firmly planted on the ground, and it seemed that no matter what else went crazy, he would be the one constant.

Three years of romance, and two years of marriage later, I got tired. He was the most unromantic man I know. He never bought me flowers, he never surprised me, and nothing changed in our marriage.

After some time, I finally found the courage to tell him that wanted to leave him. He just sat there, speechless. My heart froze.......

What kind of man was I married to that didn't even know what to say to make me stay?

After a while, he spoke, "What can I do to change your mind?"

"I will stay if you can give me a good answer to this question," I replied coldly.

"If I asked for a flower that grew on a cliff, and you knew that getting it for me means certain death, would you get it for me?"

His face grew troubled."Can I give you an answer tomorrow morning?" he asked.

Hearing that kind of answer, my heart died. I knew that I could never be happy with a man who couldn't even give me a answer straight away.

The next morning, when I woke up, he was missing. In the living room, under a warm glass of milk, was a note. My eyes grew misty as i read it ..

"Dear, I have my answer. I will never pick the flower for you if it meant certain death. But before you leave, I hope you can give me a chance to give you my reasons .....

You will always sit in front of the computer and type about for the whole day, but every time you will end up in tears cause your formatting will always go all over the place... I need my fingers, to do the formatting for you, so your tears will
become smiles.

You like to travel, but would always get lost ... I need my eyes, so that I can bring you to the nicest places on earth.

Every time you leave the house, you would always forget your keys...I need my legs, so that I can run home to open the door for you.

You never knew how to take care of yourself... I need my hands to help you get rid of the pesky white hair you hate so much when you grow old, to trim your nails, to feed you.

So you see, that's why I can't pick the flower for you. Until I find someone who loves you more than I do, I will need my body to take care of you.

If you accept my reasons, then open the door, where I will be waiting with your favorite muffin."

With tears streaming from my eyes, I opened the door, and there he stood, with a extremely worried look on his face. He still had nothing to say, but just stood there waving the packet he had in his hand in front of me.

And then I knew for a fact that I will never find another man who will ever love me as much as he does.

Dear Fun-Lovers out there,

Hey, how's it been going? Well, I've got news. Finally my office shifting's over and I'm settling down. Had too much negative vibes going on for the past few months and to all those whom I would have snapped at, well, I'm extremely apologetic about it.

Anyways I had a great time yesterday. Woke up at 8am, showered, got dressed and left to run some errands. Went to Woodlands at Civic Centre. Following that, went to my Fiance's place (as usual) and followed his mum, bro and himself down for breakfast at the hawker centre 2 blocks away. Tell you the truth, it was fun being with them, really felt so like a second family (Awww Shucks :p).

Anyways after that my guy and myself headed down towards town to meet up with one of our friends Vicky. We didn't wanna do anything too tiring or hectic, so we decided to have a drink and chill. We planned for New Asia Bar, but knowing its a Saturday and we'll be SARDINES there we took our second pick at VIA MAR (My choice by the way). This place is at the Esplanade. Well its, along the river, but only much inside.

Its a nice relaxing chill out area (I'm recommending it to everyone!!). Whilst we were there we saw some pre-celebrations of the National Day. Check out the Picture below of the crowd further up from the place we were at.

Esplana Pre-National Day Party. Check out the red beings on the sides of the photo. They were performers and were practically dancing to "Lets Celebrate" for god knows how many times. But they were good! Quite entertaing. The music they were playing to was great. Mixes of all genre.

By the way, I forgot to tell you that we brainwashed Vicky into staying on with us because he was supposed to pick up his dad and go back home. So he went to give the car back to his dad and joined us again. By the time he had arrived I was having my 2nd drink.

My Fiance was down to his 5th Glass of Carlsberg. Oh, the place was having a promotion where for 1 glass of wine another would be free and for beers, 2 glasses for another one free. Hey, the prices are quite reasonable as well.

Check out our appetizers. Actually we had Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Cheese and the Fried Potato Skins on Salsa sauce. I managed to snap only the last remaining potato.

Whilst we were sitting and talking alot of "quality" stuff, the other side having the party started off their FIREWORKS Display. It was too crowded for me to snap that too. So erm, you guys just have to imagine them okie :).

Well, it wad getting dark and Vicky had always wanted to try out "Sheesha" (I think thats how its spelt) Its basically an eygptian sort of a pipe where they smoke the tabacco with flavours. We moved into the covered and cozy corner and ordered a mint flavoured one.
